Most Councils run their mainstream school transport by contract, but whether your transport is internal or external you still need the facility to understand the “big picture” requirements. How are your clients (pupils) distributed? Where are the schools positioned? What size vehicles would best suit?
All of these questions and more may be answered by the KL2 TranSys ST module. Individual client records contain all of the relevant information about the pupil, for example, in addition to all the usual details of name, address, age, destination, transport requirements, the system will hold information like budget code so that cost associated with this pupil, regardless of the means of transport, will be correctly accounted for.
One of the major benefits of the KL2 TranSys ST module is the reporting module, a comprehensive set of reports are available as standard. As the TranSys application is based upon de-facto standard and the use of industry standard Microsoft SQL Server the facilities exist for users to write their own reports based upon the stored data.
